THE WATER.....
Is your passion to be on the water? If you are like me, you have countless memories with family and friends while fishing on a bank or casting a line from a boat. There is a feeling of freedom every time that I put my boat in the water and pull away from a dock. I sometimes say to myself, "This is my time....no work....no stress.....just my family/friends and a lot of open water!"
THE FIELD......
Maybe your passion is putting the bead on a long beard, working your Lab on a retrieve, or seeing that White Tail that you've been scouting for weeks. Sometimes it might not even be about the hunt; it could just be the awesome company, conversation, or memories you're making. I venture to say some of the best lessons in my life were taught in a duck blind or deer stand.

My name is Tex Lindsey and I am the proprietor of the Outdoor Gentleman. I grew up in Eastern North Carolina and have always been a lover of the outdoors. Since my kids were old enough to walk, I have taken advantage of using the outdoors to strengthen our relationships.
The Outdoor Gentleman represents a blend between that well-educated doctor/lawyer, all the way across the spectrum to the young gentleman who just helped me bag my groceries. People from different walks of life can share the same passions of sitting in a duck blind, crawling into a deer stand, or casting a line for a trophy fish. It doesn't matter where you come from or what your financial status may be, we all have the same love for the outdoors.
I look forward to many years of sharing stories, fostering friendships, and growing family bonds as we all continue down the path of being outdoor gentlemen. ~ The OG
